Hello! My name is Valerie Butikofer ("Ms. B") and I am excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher! I have been teaching in Haslett since 2023. I am thrilled to be working in the community, and cannot wait to meet your child. My goal is to help them grow academically, provide support for social-emotional needs, and build strong relationships with your family. We are going to have an awesome year!
Supply list
This year we will have community supplies in our classroom. The supplies that you bring will be shared by all students so that everyone has what they need.
The suggested supply list includes:
• 24 #2 pencils (preferably sharpened)
• One box of 12 colored pencils
• 6-8 skinny tip Dry Erase (Expo) Markers (preferably black)
• 1-2 Highlighters
• Two - composition notebooks/journal (no spiral)
• Headphones or earbuds (labeled with your child’s name in a Ziploc bag)
• 1-2 packs of Post-it notes
• 2 glue sticks
• Last names A-K, bring in a roll of paper towels
• Last names L-Z bring in a container of Clorox wipes
*There is no need to bring a large binder or pencil box.
